Jocko and Gaye Evans were joined by Jocko’s sister and brother-in-law Marcia and Norman Houseworth and longtime friends Bob and Christine Worley on campus September 9th as the Montana Tech Foundation announced the establishment of the Jocko Evans Endowed Scholarship. Funded by his former students, friends and colleagues, the scholarship will forever support students as they pursue their educational dreams at Tech.
It was wonderful to share the news with Jocko and Gaye. Along with sharing the news about the creation of the scholarship endowment in their name, the Montana Tech Foundation presented them with a book containing some of the many well wishes and personal messages of those supporters who helped create the scholarship. If you have a message you would like to share with Jocko and Gaye, please email it to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will make sure to pass it along.
Today just a few weeks later we are almost 93% of the way to our $65,000 goal. We thank everyone who has already given and encourage you to spread the word, please share the link https://impact.mtech.edu/project/2869 via email, and on social media.
Thank you for honoring Jocko and Gaye and for supporting Montana Tech!
