Montana Tech Football 2019

Montana Tech Football is gearing up for the 2019 season!  The Orediggers finished 5-5 last season and sixth in the Frontier Conference. The Oredigger rushing attack ranked second in the Frontier average 173.6 yards per game while the defense ranked fourth allowing 134.4 rushing yards per game. Montana Tech returns seven starters on the offensive side of the ball, including two-time first team all-conference running back Jed Fike who rushed for 1,340 yards and 10 touchdowns last season. Fike has led the Frontier Conference in rushing the past two seasons. Defensively, Montana Tech returns six starters including defensive backs Tucker Rauthe and Justin May who led the team in tackles a season ago.And perhaps the most impressive honor are the 48 players that were named Academic All-Conference, because at Montana Tech our student athletes are STUDENTS first.

As the momentum builds towards the new season we are asking for your help. Montana Tech Football is committed to a tradition of excellence. This requires recruiting and developing student athletes who will perform successfully in the classroom and compete at a championship level. Increasing the funds for our football program is a crucial component to make our vision a reality. We have an initial goal of $40,000 dollars for 2019 and every gift counts! Your contribution provides immediate resources that will benefit Montana Tech Football. Funds raised will go to help in all areas of the program including but not limited to:
