The Montana Tech Men’s & Women’s Golf program has risen to new heights in the last four years, including winning the first Frontier Conference Championship in school history in 2020, having both the men’s and women’s team featured in the NAIA Top-25 Coaches Poll, and rewriting the record books in categories like, birdies, eagles, team scoring averages, individual scoring averages, tournament low rounds, and tournament wins.

In the last four years, the Orediggers have excelled on the course with nine golfers on the Frontier Conference’s All-Conference First Team, 16 on the All-Conference Second Team, two Freshmen of the Year, and one Frontier Conference Player of the Year. In the classroom the Orediggers have had 39 Academic All-Conference honorees, and 20 NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athletes.

Now, it’s time to help the Orediggers reach even greater heights as a program by giving the Orediggers a home to practice during the long Butte winters.

With a state-of-the-art golf simulator and practice facility, the Montana Tech golf program will be able to continue their goal of being a nationally prominent golf program by practicing year-round on campus. With the simulator & practice facility, the Montana Tech Golf program will be able to practice with real-time feedback and swing analytics on club path, ball speed, angle of attack, and spin rate. The simulator will also give the Oredigger golfers the opportunity to play on some of the best golf courses in the world year-round.
