Montana Tech College Wrestling

Montana Tech Wrestling Club is in our 2nd year of existence and we have grown from 8 wrestlers, 6 of the eight qualified for the NCWA National Wrestling Tournament in Dallas, Texas. This year we have started with 14 wrestlers and expect to grow to 18 by the end of the season. Montana students are represented by six of the eleven weight divisions along with Idaho, Wyoming, Washington, Iowa, Texas and South Carolina. We operate on a modest schedule of 6 Open tournaments located in Montana, Wyoming, Oregon and Washington and 5 other multiple or dual match events.

Montana Tech is a member of the National Collegiate Wrestling Association, the largest college wrestling organization in the USA. The NCWA National tournament will be held in Dallas, Texas March 8,9,10, 2018. Travel expense by bus and one airplane ride to Dallas, Texas is a budget challenge for a club team to be active and still have strong academic goals in the classroom.

We are asking for your help to take this program to the next level! We set a goal of $12,000 with a stretch goal of $20,000 for tournament fees,travel and necessary equipment this year. We are asking you to consider sponsoring our team with a tax-deductible donation so that we can reach these important objectives.
