Montana Technological University is committed to our students. An unexpected emergency causing financial difficulty can happen to anyone at any point in time. Each student’s situation is different and we want them to know that they can move forward, because we have their back. That's what Orediggers do, solve problems and take care of each other.
Long-time Montana Tech administrator and faculty member Joe Kasperick saw firsthand that at times students faced emergencies or financial needs that they could not tackle alone. With this in mind and in true Oredigger spirit, Joe created the Kasperick Emergency Fund to provide immediate funds for emergent situations. The Kasperick Emergency Fund provides compassionate assistance to students who encounter unforeseen financial emergencies or catastrophic events that disrupt their progress towards a degree.
Montana Tech often receives questions about how to help current students as they navigate hardships while on campus. If you’re searching for ways to help, please consider a gift of any size to the Kasperick Emergency Fund. The Kasperick Emergency Fund supports students experiencing a wide range of unanticipated needs, including medical expenses, food and supplies, emergency travel, childcare and more.
Thank you for making a gift today to the Kasperick Emergency Fund and showing a whole new generation of students that Orediggers take care of each other! Please help us spread the word! Share this project on social media, by email and tell your friends!
If you are a student, or know a student, that needs emergency support please reach out directly via email to Montana Tech Dean of Students Joe Cooper at jcooper2@mtech.edu.
