“Tech Tough” is the foundation on which the Montana Tech Women's Basketball team is built. Our goal is to provide a championship experience and lifelong learning for OUR Orediggers! For us to grow and to compete with the top teams in the conference and the nation, we need to continue to be able to recruit high-end student-athletes.  

We are asking you to invest in Montana Tech Women's Basketball. Through your generous gifts, we can continue our rise to the top of the Frontier Conference! Funds raised are used for opportunities to help us compete at a championship level.  

These opportunities include:

• Scholarships to attract the top student-athletes in Montana and in the Northwest
• Recruiting trips for potential student-athletes to visit Montana Tech and Butte
• Home Game Guarantees and Non-Conference Travel to improve our RPI and strength of schedule
• Gear and Equipment purchases to instill Oredigger pride when they see our team or enter our gym
• Enhanced Student-Athlete Experience through team building activities both on the road and at home

Montana Tech’s Women’s Basketball team a long tradition of student-athletes who excel in the classroom and OUR Butte community. OUR student-athletes are leaders in OUR Butte community, participating in events like:

• United Way’s Dress a Child
• Reading to students at Head Start
• Serving at The Knights of Columbus Community Lunch
• Volunteering for Connecting for the Cancer Cure Golf Tournament
• Walk to School with the Diggers Day
• Serving Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners at the Belmont Senior Center 
• Serving at the annual Empty Bowls fundraiser
